Pike grand jury to determine whether charges will be filed for fatal weekend shooting

BELFRY, Ky. – A Pike County man is dead following a shooting Saturday at Belfry. Greely Hurley, 30, of Stopover, was pronounced dead at Tug Valley ARH on Saturday. According to Kentucky State Police, Hurley was shot while in a physical altercation with Paul Coleman, 57, of Meta, in a business parking lot on Route 319. No arrests were made immediately following the shooting. Findings of the investigation will be presented to a Pike County grand jury to determine whether criminal charges will be filed. KSP Det.
